In 1990, Justin Hats was acquired by Milano Hat Company, one of our country’s largest hat distributors. Justin Boots, it’s parent company, was founded over 100 years ago by Herman J. Justin. Continuing it’s legacy under Justin Hats, Milano Hat Company branched out to making authentic straw cowboy hats.
The company then went on to expanding the Justin collection, including premium wool and fur felt hats in the mix. Today, Justin Hats, with the addition of Bent Rail under its banner, has become as widely recognized in the market as Justin boots.
Our Justin hats are made with a variety of materials, crowns, and brims. Not only do we offer wool felt and straw styles, but we offer several shades of brown and black cowboy hats. Our Justin hats come in two crown styles: the slick cattleman crease and wider bull rider crown. The most defining element of our cowboy hats are the different bands. Many of our hats have leather bands with details like stitching or studs. Our 3X hats are equipped with a band made out of the same material as the hat, making it higher quality than our 2Xes.
