United StatesMy black Scala Upturn hat had been my go to hat for several years. On it I had pinned a beautiful marcasite bird pin. I lost them at a theater when I stood up forgetting that the hat was in my lap. I looked for a replacement for several months, and then found the same hat on the Scala website. The new one is much stiffer than the old, and a bit larger. But, the look is right, and I feel confident that this new one will be a trusted friend in time. I am still looking for the right pin to adorn it. I imagine the stiffness will subside as the hat gets more and more involved in the folding, stuffing, and wearing of my daily life.
